Taco Pie

Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb - Ground beef
- 1 ¼ oz - Taco seasoning packet
- 1 can - Refried beans
- 2 cup - Salsa
- 3 cup - Taco cheese blend
- ¾ cup - Water
- 16 oz - Sour cream
- 4 -8 inch tortillas
- 1 -Diced tomato
- Plain or nacho cheese tortilla chips
- Shredded lettuce
- Taco sauce
Preparation
- Brown beef on the stovetop.
- Drain & add taco seasoning,add 3/4 cup water.Bring to a boil,lower heat & simmer until all liquid is absorbed.
- Pre-heat oven to 350°.
- Add one tortilla to a 10 inch pan,using a spoon spread refried beans on the tortilla.Now spread salsa on top of the refried beans.Spread beef on top of the salsa.Top with cheese.
- Add another tortilla to the pan on top of the 1st one.Repeat the layers until all the tortillas are used.(Save about 1 cup of beef for the last step).
- Crush tortilla chips,arrange them around the outside of the tortillas until the pan is full.
- Top the outer edge with the leftover beef,now top with plenty of cheese.
- Cover & Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
- Remove from oven,top with shredded lettuce,diced tomatoes & taco sauce.
- Cut into 8 pieces like a pie & serve with sour cream on top.
